"As we see it, this experiment confirms our suspicion that Bing is using some combination of:
- Internet Explorer 8, which can send data to Microsoft via its Suggested Sites feature
- the Bing Toolbar, which can send data via Microsoft’s Customer Experience Improvement Program"
Now think about it. How could Internet Explorer be so slow unless it is sending tons of information back to Microsoft to add as search results to Bing.
My suggestion: Chrome
Every browser uses multi-threaded communications. What happens is that IE is sending the data on a totally different stream to avoid slowing down the connection. Other browser like Chrome also sends tons information back to Google without any slowdown. This is because they also prioritize the traffic the same way as well.
ReplyDeleteThe true reason why IE8 is slow is because they chose to use an old rendering engine that wasn't updated for newer technologies. They went ahead and overhauled it in IE9, which is why that runs much faster.
Would not convince me to even try it. Well, i couldn't if I wanted to... Im on Ubuntu
