You know why? Because Bing is stealing Google's search results and denying it! If Bing was shut down, NO ONE would care other then the Microsoft employees who created it. NO ONE would go: "where's bing?" with a frown on their face. That's because Bing search is an emulated Google! And those would-be sad people would go right to google.com.
Face it Microsoft, GIVE UP. Not just on Bing, eventually, Chrome OS will replace computers in workplaces, Microsoft will be lower then linux one day.
Don't believe me? Look:

Because everyone searches juegosdeben1ogrande every night....

No offense or anything, but this Google pride seems a bit over the top. Kinda like those Justin Bieber fans that send death threats to anyone near him.
ReplyDeleteIMO, competition is good. I for one hope that Bing does become successful (although with their own unique algorithm). Only then will things become better. Otherwise, without competition, innovation will stagnate.
Talk about a hypocritical statement by Google:

Anonymous 1: I can't stand using Bing search. Every time I'm on a work computer, the default search is Bing and I cringe. I've tried to go to certain sites before and what comes up? Not a copied Google search... a big fat nothing. So even if bing isn't copying, they still suck.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 2: I hate Android. I'm a proud iPhone user. That's a WHOLE separate section of Google Inc.
Who are you people? The defenders of Bing who go around to blogs posting these things at 1 AM?
I feel like I'm in a midnight Bing defending mood right now. :D

Seems there are many Bing Defenders on my site....
ReplyDeleteBing's not so bad. I used to be a die-hard Google supporter until I made a bet with someone. The idea was for me to use Bing for one week straight, no Google. At first, I kept thinking that the results were inferior to Google. Then I realized that in reality, I am finding what I'm looking for. One week later, I officially switched to Bing full time.
ReplyDeleteLast fall was my 1 year anniversary of switching to Bing. I haven't been disappointed yet. I think it might a mental thing that makes Bing seem inferior. When I first tried using it, I was programmed to believe that only Google can search the web properly. When I broke out of the mindset, then I saw Bing's potential. That was the point of my friend making the bet 1 week long.
It's not that I hate Google, I still use them for everything else besides search. But I now like Bing search better. Bing's GUI was a major selling point in my books. Due to the aesthetics, many people say that if Apple made a search engine, it would be Bing. I agree with this wholeheartedly.
And yes, I did stay up this late so I could have my post time line up with the post times of those first two Bing defenders (although I find the first post a more objective post than a defending post).
